Mobile Notary Services
A Notary Public is an official appointed by a state government to serve the public as an impartial witness in administering oaths and performing other official acts (called notarial acts or notorizations) when important documents are signed. The duties and responsibilities of Notaries are expressly dictated by state law.
Notaries Public oversee the proper exectution of many life-changing documents —whether those documents help businesses to operate, convey real property, grant powers of attorney, establish estate plans, finalize adoptions, or affect a multitude of other matters that enable our society to function.

Acknowledgments
Purpose
Acknowledgments are the most common form of notarization. Typically, they are executed on documents such as deeds and other documents affecting real property that will be publicly recorded by a county recorder.
Oaths and Affirmations
Purpose
An Oath is a solemn, spokern pledge to a Supreme Being. An affirmation is a Solemn, spoken pledge on one's own personal honor, with no reference to a Supreme Being.
An individual who objects to taking an oath my instead take an affirmatin. Both are a promis of truthfulness and have the same legal effect. In taking an oath or affirmation in an official proceeding, a person may be subjet to criminal penalties for perjury should he or she fail to be truthful.
An oath or affirmatin can be a full-fledged notarial act in its own right, as when giving an oath of office to a public official, or it can be part of the process of notarizing a document, as when executing a jurat or swearing in a credible person.
Verification on Oath & Affirmation
Purpose
Notaries typicall execute verifications on oaths or affirmations when notarizing affidavits, depositions and other forms of written verifations requiring a verbal oath or affirmation by the signer. The purpose of a verification on oathe or affirmation is to certify that the signer swore to or affirmed the truthfulness of statements in a document, which he or she signs in the Notary's presence.

Certifications
Purpose
Arizona notaries have authority to certify that a copy of a document is full, true and accurate transcription or reproduction of the document presented (ARS 41-253[D]).
Witnessing Signatures
Purpose
Arizona notaries are authorized to perform signature witnessing and attestations. In a sgnature witnessing, the notary determines either from personal knowledge or satisfactory evidence, that the person apperaring before the Notary and signing the document has the identify claimed.
Protests
Purpose
In rare instances, Notaries may be asked to protest a negotiable inturment for nonpayment. A protest is a written statement by a Notary or other authorized officer verifying that payment was not received on an instrument such as a bank draft failure to pay is called dishonor.
Wills
Purpose
- Wills will only be notorized only if the Notary Certificate is provided.
- No advice will be given; any questions should be answered by an attorney.
Living Wills
Purpose
Living wills are not actual wills, but a form of advance healthcare directive in which the signer gives written instructions for midecal treatment in the event that he or she later becomes unable to provide such instructions due to illness or incapacity.
